This past October 18th, on the campus of The College of New Jersey, the Brothers re-introduced themselves as only we can! Brothers of the Iota Gamma Chapter (TCNJ/Rider) turned Homecoming 2008 to the place to be. Activities started early for the Brotherhood with tailgating and ending with a MasQUErade party. Over 150 tickets were sold for the MasQUErade party as Brothers and their guess don costumes and transcended into the spirit of the party. Although it was a long day for most, everyone partied the night away. Well, at least until it was time to go home! TCNJ accommodated the Brothers well by providing us with a plot that was the envy to all that were present at Homecoming! As is the case in most situations, folks left their own tailgating areas to come and hang out with the Ques. It was no different later on that evening as the partying with the Brothers continued. A great meal with plenty of libation, along with a break room with some nostalgic paraphernalia was made available. With the guidance and leadership from Bro. Nall, Bro. Buchanan and Bro. Muse the MasQUErade party was a tremendous success! In addition, the assistance of Bro. Nickson with the event graphics and the multimedia aspect of the party were second to none. Everyone was also treated to a small show by Delta Upsilon’s HOP TEAM. The entire day was phenomenal. Brothers were the talk of the town for weeks after the two events. Special thanks to all of the men of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. that gave their time, effort and expertise to make this event the success it was. We look forward to seeing you in February for our H & R Ball and next spring (Mardi Gras Theme) and fall (MasQUErade) as we do it again, bigger and better!
